Obligatory post-con post! 

Megacon was this weekend! I went all 3 days and am completely exhausted geeez but it was fun!!

I didn’t have much of a Sunday since we got there kind of late but that’s okay. We got some nifty pictures of our fem!Fortress 2 in a deserted upstairs area!

The Dolorosa on Saturday. I was there for 8 hours and I feel like I did nothing but get photos taken, take photos, and sit. I was only able to go into the dealer’s room for a few minutes because all of our feet were threatening to ollie outie. Homestuck photoshoot was crazy (as usual), but I got to meet and hang with some super cool people and I was blown away by some of the costumes I was able to see when I had the chance to just sit and observe. We went to absolutely no panels due to that crazy day but that’s alright because today was awesome!

We were able to get there pretty early (went as fem!Scout again) and got into the dealer’s room right away. We got stopped for quite a decent amount of photos and I was really pleased with the response to our costumes! (To be honest, I was a bit worried about us doing genderbends u.u ) I got this cool stuff:

A shirt! Fun fact: The Wheatley bits glow in the dark :>

A really beautiful print to make my room less sterile-feeling! I fell in love with this artist’s style and simply had to snag something from her :)

A keychain! Good thing they only had Scout and Heavy left or I would have spent 40 dollars on the whole cast haha! I was extremely tempted by the entire Valve booth and had to hold myself back from buying almost everything.

Later we ran into some fellow TF2 cosplayers who were oh so lovely and super duper nice and were able to hang with them for a bit whence I proceeded to make a fool of myself by spilling Jarate (apple juice of course c; ) all over my shirt (thank you BLU Spy for the tissue!). Didn’t get to be with them as long as we would have liked but we had to make our way back to our normal lives once more…

All in all it was really fun, terribly painful, sort of stressful but TOTALLY worth it. I’m already excited for the next con :]
